Forgot to say this is a really great posting which covers the whole thing very nicely. I've searched trough the net for a long time, but I didn't found something similar like your posting about hiding the campaign variables... Thanks a lot!

Looks like I'm exactly in this situation... I want to use bit.ly to redirect users to the right url. But how exactly would you configure the whole stuff to don't show the campaign information in the url? Can you please be a little bit more specific? Sounds very interesting...

Are you tired of posting URLs in emails that the recipient has to cut and paste back together? I use http://paidly.com - url shortener

Teksavvy... Worst experience ever!!!

My co-workers with Teksavvy said good things about them so I decided to give them a try. I called them up and signed up for the service.

First Month: Unlimited Service (5M/800K) $39.95 (later decided on $29.99 for premium)
Rent-to-own Modem: $25 + $10 for first month
Dry DLS activation: $19.99
Dry DSL Dand: $9.99
Static IP: $4

With taxes in it came to about $120

I received my modem and my line was activated. I hooked up my modem, but could not connect. Called tech-support... They told me it takes a few days... Even though I was getting error regarding the channel detection on the modem and my DSL link was online. After several calls... Finally got through to someone who knew what they were doing... Reset modem and was online.

Speed test... 2M???

Call in to tech-support... Your line is not good... change to another phone jack. Changed... Oh... that looks better... We will put in a request to Bell to boost your speed. But, you may not be able to get 5M.

Ok... I think... I can live with 4M... Next day... 2.5M???

Sorry... that is the most you will get becasue you are too far.

Ok... then... two days on the service... I would like to cancel... Well.. that is when the fun started.

Sorry... but we cannot refund you the money... I was on the service for 2 days... I did not like the service... because it was poor... I want to cancel. Sorry... we can only refund the $25 for the modem and the $10 for the first month for the service change. So... I paid $90 for a run-around.

Buyer be ware... these guys have no clue about customer service. They had my address when I signed up... They could have easily checked to see what the nearest jump point was for the DSL. And then charge me $90 for the poor service in the area... My fault?

I'm a bit late in the discussion but that's an interesting comparison chart. As the YOURLS guy, I like to compare various solutions and see what features could make it into YOURLS. From what I see here the only real stand alone solution is, well, mine :-)

The regexp support idea is pretty interesting. I see a number of potential issues, mainly security and user interface/ease of use, but I'll think about this.
